Notes from Pastor Walker's Sermon today 9am service

Sermon: "When the fire falls"
Acts 2:1-4

1) It came after a season of waiting

being trained, prayer and fasting, God had to prepare them

2) Pentecost requires Unity vrs 1

We have to work to keep unity and not become divided

3) The holy spirit will give you power for your life Acts 1:8

loving people that are difficult

to keep going when it gets hard

4) The fire was meant to spread Acts 2:41

to your home, your neighborhood, the community

His closing point that Christ Fellowship Baptist Church desire is to change the lives of the congregants that comes through the doors of our church by way of the word.

We furthermore should not be a church that just talks about Pentecost, but we should experience it.
