Could not have asked for a better week at Kids Camp! The weather was perfect, we had an awesome group of kids, and we shared a wonderful week of activities. The kids tried new things, made new friends, and learned more about what it means to be rooted in our faith. Thank you so much to all of our incredible leaders and volunteers, and to all the parents and families that made it possible. Can't wait for next year!

Middle school camp at Camp PYOCA was a great way to kick off the summer! The Lord gave us amazing weather to be able to enjoy nature and take in all that God had in store for us. From water activities to arts and crafts, to Jay Games every day that stretched abilities and built teamwork, to hearing from different speakers all week who walked us through the Biblical story, our middle schoolers grew in their faith and in their connection to our church family. Thank you to everyone who made it possible!

At the end of May our Welcome Place Childcare Ministry celebrated the graduation of our 5 year olds. Some of these kids had been with us for a year, some since they were infants. Each one has treasured memories with us and we’re so excited for them to go to kindergarten and thrive. We’re praying for you!

On May 10 Pastor Heather preached in Philippians 2:12-18, a passage about finding purpose in struggle and avoiding pitfalls that could pull us and others down. It is an encouraging truth that when we go through hard things, our faith and perseverance create a shared altar on which the Lord receives our service and sacrifice.

One Church Sunday combined worship was such a powerful and joyful gathering! We’re always one church but we don’t often get to all be in the same room at the same time. So thankful for our worship teams that led our whole congregation in worship that reflected multiple styles and the breadth of our church family, to appreciate and fellowship as one community. Topped off by a great meal and additional time together.

Look for One Church Sundays to happen quarterly this year, there’s more to come!
