In a world full of noise, the Church still needs truth, faithfulness, and people willing to follow God wholeheartedly.

This reminder challenges us to stay grounded in what truly matters: not trends, not popularity, but obedience and trust in Christ.

Take a moment to listen, reflect, and be encouraged today.

Who is the Great Commission Collective?

We are a network of pastors and elders united in multiplying leaders, planting churches, and strengthening one another. We're stronger together: sharing resources and support that help our leaders and churches thrive for the long haul.

Whether you are planting, leading, or seeking community, we want to help you flourish. Connect with us at gccollective.org

“Follow your heart.” It’s what people say to do when you’ve got a big decision ahead.

But Scripture invites us into something better: seeking the Lord in all we do and trusting Him to lead the way.

For pastors, planters, and leaders, our job is to seek God’s wisdom and align our hearts with His as we submit to Him.

Pause. Pray. Ask Him what to do next. He is faithful to guide those who seek Him.

After nearly two decades in ministry, Shamus Drake knew he was called to something more.

Church planting had always been on his heart—but knowing how to take the next step wasn’t always clear.

Through GCC, he found alignment, clarity, and a shared mission that helped turn that calling into action.

Stories like this are a reminder that God often uses community and partnership to move leaders forward.

Real impact doesn’t just happen by pursuing the numbers.

It happens when we create a culture of change in the heart of churches across North America.

Every part of the Great Commission Collective is designed to help churches equip leaders, build community, and raise up church planters.

Across GCC churches, we assume a posture of dependent, expectant prayer.

Not because it’s routine or a box to check off, but because it’s necessary to everything we do.

We don’t lead, plant, or grow the Church through our own strength.

We ask. We trust. We wait on the Lord.

This is where all ministry begins.

Mother’s Day looks different for each of us.

For some, it’s a day of joy and celebration. For others, this day can be a challenging reminder of the brokenness that surrounds us.

Wherever you find yourself this Mother’s Day, God sees you, He cares for you, He is near to you, and He walks with you.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

God has wired all of us to seek glory.

Dave Harvey unpacks something we all feel: a deep, God-given desire for glory. It’s why courage moves us. It’s why excellence compels us.

But that desire was never meant to be met by seeking our own glory.

It was meant to point us to something greater—the glorification of the One who is truly worthy.

Interested in strengthening leadership in your church?

Dave Harvey will be part of this upcoming cohort with The Gospel Coalition—worth exploring if you’re serving as an elder, deacon, or developing future leaders.

Explore what Scripture teaches about elders and deacons, how their distinct callings serve the same gospel mission, and how healthy churches cultivate trust and collaboration among those who serve in these roles.

Why should a pastor join the Great Commission Collective?

Dave Harvey points to a deeper commitment that comes from our collective. Our focus isn’t just on more churches, but more disciples, leaders, and planters.

GCC exists to help churches build a culture where leaders are developed, supported, and sent.

Because healthy churches don’t just grow.
They multiply.
