⭐️ Church Highlights ⭐️

1st Evangelical Methodist Church of Little Orleans Maryland

God is doing amazing things in His church. Pastor Darhl Trail shared that 37 people have been baptized in the past two weeks. Some were saints that had never been baptized along with many new converts. Their little mountain church is busting at the seams. They have added on bathrooms and foyer and will be flipping the sanctuary to accommodate more seating. It has been exciting to see all that God has been doing.
Pastor Darhl shares: "...it seems like every time we baptize there’s always one or two more decides to get in. Unbelievable what God is doing...I just see a beautiful move of God in this area. And I am confident it is prayer, and the surrendering of ourselves on an alter. We need to get more intense. This morning I mentioned to them that this next generation is our target. We are hoping to build Sunday school rooms on once we get the church flipped. We’re tearing the wall out this week. So keep praying for us in this community."

We praise the Lord for the work for his kingdom that is taking place and the faithful leadership of Pastor Darhl and his wife, Melissa.

📸 100 YEARS OF MEMAR | PART TWO

We continue to share some moments from our General Conference, a celebration that allowed us to come together, remember our history, and thank God for each generation that has been part of these 100 years.

Each photograph holds a moment, a face, and a story. They are memories of a family that, through time, has remained united in faith, service, and commitment to God's work.

In this very special year, we also celebrate the 100 years of the Open Bible Church in Chihuahua, joining us in the joy of recognizing God's faithfulness throughout this journey.

🙌 100 years not only represent time; they represent lives transformed, generations serving, and a history sustained by God's grace.

We continue celebrating, we continue remembering, and above all, we continue walking forward with hope.

Thank God for these 100 years and for allowing us to be part of the history that He continues to write!

Our Mexico Conference recently celebrated 100 years! To God be the Glory! Here is a post highlighting their conference and celebration.

: ✨ 100 YEARS OF HISTORY, FAITH, AND SERVICE ✨

This year we celebrate with deep joy and gratitude to God 100 years of MEMAR, a story built through generations of men and women who have dedicated their lives to serving God and proclaiming the Gospel.

As part of this celebration, we share some moments from our General Conference, an event that allowed us to remember where we come from, give thanks for everything God has done, and look with hope toward what He has prepared for us.

Along with this journey, we also celebrate the 100th anniversary of the La Puerta Abierta Church in Chihuahua, a congregation that is part of this history and whose testimony has remained steadfast through the years.

📖 100 years of faithfulness.
100 years of service.
100 years of a story that continues.

We look back with gratitude, live the present with joy, and walk toward the future with the confidence that God will continue to guide every step of our mission.

Thank you to every church, pastor, family, and brother and sister who has been part of these 100 years.

We celebrate what God has done and look forward with faith to all that He will still do!

⭐️General Conference 2026⭐️

The July Edition of In the Know - from EMC Missionaries Bill & Lisa Walker - shares about the Global Conferences at General Conference. It was a beautiful time celebrating what God is doing around the world in the EMC.

Highlights:
🌎 We heard a report from each of the Global Superintendents.
🎶 Multilingual Worship during Thursday's Mission Service.
🙏🏼 Concert of Prayer for the Nations.
🍱 Interactive Missions Display
🤝New Global Partner and the consecration of Rev. Henri Kadima & Rev. Theophile Mpetembe
🎁 Over $14,000 was given to further the kingdom work of our Global Conferences

General Conference Highlights
⭐️Evangelical Methodist Women ⭐️

At General Conference, new officers are elected for the Evangelical Methodist Women. This group of women will lead and serve the women of the EMC for the next four years. They purpose to connect women from all over the denomination:

The Four-Fold Plan:
1. Continuing organized efforts to develop Christian living and service.
2. Promoting a wider knowledge and interest in both home and foreign missions.
3. Assisting and encouraging the Christian education of our youth.
4. Participating in Christian activities that will strengthen the local church and community.

General Conference 2026 Highlights
⭐️ Youth & Youth Leadership Initiative ⭐️

It was an exciting week at conference as EMC youth from all over the US gathered for conference. They joined the conference body for morning and evening services and then broke out into their own small groups for Bible study and activities. They had afternoon outings around the Indianapolis area and on Wednesday afternoon they gathered at the EMC headquarters equipped with shovels and gloves. The youth did a fantastic job sprucing up the landscaping around the property and restoring the prayer garden. The members of the Youth Leadership Initiative did an amazing job serving during some of the conference sessions and helping to plan and lead activities for the youth. We are so thankful for this generation of EMCers and their hearts for the Lord. To God be the Glory.

General Conference 2026
⭐️ Highlights: People ⭐️

Where does one even start to share all that God did last week at General Conference 2026. There was the beautiful evidence of a body unified in the Spirit. The business session went so smoothly that it concluded a day early. The reports given evidenced a healthy and growing fellowship of churches. There were beautiful times of genuine worship and surrender to the One whom we were all gathered for. Holiness and Entire Sanctification were preached boldly from the pulpit and hearts responded in obedience and absolute surrender. The services were rich, challenging, and life-giving. The breakout sessions were excellent in equipping our churches to connect and reach this generation with the Gospel. Hearts were united for the cause of Christ as representatives from our Global Conferences led in worship and we heard reports from each of the General Superintendents. We heard how God is moving in the lives of our EMC brothers and sisters around the world. We had a special concert of Prayer for the Nations that was a highlight of the week. God poured out his blessing on the people of the EMC this week and we are so grateful.

In the days and weeks to come we will continue sharing about this tremendous week. So stay tuned!
