Why do some people make the sign of the cross during worship? Why do clergy wear different vestments? Why do we stand, sit, or kneel at different points in the service?

If you've ever wondered why we do what we do in worship, you're invited to stay after the 11:00 a.m. service this Sunday for Worship 101—a casual Q&A with our clergy about Episcopal worship, liturgy, traditions, and practices.

Whether you're brand new to St. Paul's or you've been here for years, bring your questions and join the conversation.

📅 Sunday, June 7
⏰ 12:30 p.m. (following the 11:00 a.m. service)

On its annual retreat, the vestry generated value statements for each area of ministry in order to guide the staff, volunteers, and parish toward God’s vision for our church.

More than 700 works of art. One remarkable legacy.

St. Paul's Episcopal Church is honored to share the artwork of Anne Reichardt—physician, artist, feminist, and longtime member of our parish. Before her death in 2023, Anne left her artwork to the church, and we are now opening this extraordinary collection to the community.

From May 31 through June 7, visitors are invited to view Anne's photographs, paintings, and mixed-media works displayed throughout St. Paul's. Rather than selling the collection, we hope to find new homes where her art can continue to inspire, challenge, and bring joy.

If you see a piece you love, you may sign up to take it home at the end of the exhibition. Donations in Anne's memory are welcome but not required.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this post with artists, collectors, community organizations, and anyone who might appreciate Anne's work.
