Great news!
The first day back from an inspiring Annual Conference, I was present when our faithful volunteers presented a check to CEO (Cooperative Emergency Outreach) at their monthly board meeting. ๏ฟผCEO is a top rated nonprofit assisting those most in need in Fayetteville. Through the amazing generosity of those that worship as part of Sequoyah United Methodist, this was made possible. ๏ฟผ๏ฟผ

๐ŸŽ“ Senior Spotlight: College Graduates ๐ŸŽ“

Join us in celebrating Gabby Woodie and Libby Holden as they graduate from the University of Arkansas! Both Gabby and Libby have been longtime workers in SUMCโ€™s childrenโ€™s ministry, faithfully investing in and caring for the children and families of our church. We are incredibly grateful for the impact they have made through their service over the years.

Gabby graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in Marketing. She is currently seeking opportunities to pursue a career in sports media, and we are excited to see where her talents and passion take her next!

Libby graduated magna cm laude with a BA in Anthropology and a minor in History. Following graduation, she plans to attend graduate school at the University of Arkansas, studying historical archaeology while serving as a teaching assistant for the anthropology department.

Join us Sunday as we recognize these incredible graduates during both the 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM services, and celebrate them during the graduate reception at 10:00 AM. โœจ

A huge thank you to Troop 357G for the incredible work they did assembling care packages for our troops serving overseas!

With the support of our church family, the girls packed 24 care packages filled to the brim to help bring encouragement and cheer to military members far from home.

As Scout Master Lisa McClure shared, the troop is so thankful for everyone who supported this mission. We are proud to partner with and support these amazing young women as they serve others with such kindness and dedication. ๐Ÿ’™
