During Pride Month, we at Central United Methodist Church are reminded that Christ’s table is wide, and His welcome is for everyone. Grateful for a sermon that beautifully affirmed our LGBTQIA+ siblings and the beautiful diversity of God's creation. Come as you are!

What an amazing week at VBS!
Thank you to everyone who gave their time, talents, labor, and support to make this year such a success.
Throughout the week, our detectives learned how faith grows, discovered the unique gifts God has given each of us, practiced loving our neighbors, and celebrated the wonderful truth that Jesus never stops searching for us and always loves us.
From singing and dancing to Water Day fun and Kona Ice on our final day, it was a week full of laughter, learning, and lasting memories.

A special thank you to Kari, Mary, and Lacy for leading and helping make VBS the best week of the year!

Before the thunderstorms arrived yesterday, our congregation gathered with grateful hearts for a meaningful day of worship at Central United Methodist Church. Rev. Chase shared an inspiring message reminding us that everyone who crosses our path should be welcomed and loved without exception, and we were blessed to welcome Barrett and Lauren into our church family. The energy around campus continues to grow as OMP has begun, bringing excitement and activity to our church community.

This week our pastors, along with several staff members and congregants, represented Central at the Arkansas Annual Conference. It was a powerful week of ministry, worship, fellowship, and vision setting as we joined with United Methodists from across the state to celebrate what God is doing and make new plans for even more vital ministry.

Since the appointments have now been officially set, Jennie, Chase, and Virginia will begin their fourth year of ministry here at Central. We are grateful for their leadership and service, and we look forward to all that God has in store for Central in the coming year!

As Christians, we are called to a different standard. True faith isn't just about what we believe on Sundays; it’s about embracing community and stepping up to help the poor, the vulnerable, and the overlooked. The "Lazarus" in our community isn’t invisible to God, and they shouldn't be to us either.

What a great Sunday at Central! We had wonderful worship in both services, celebrated the baptism of William Brooks Bryan, and welcomed him into our church family. We also enjoyed a great turnout for Central Connections as guests learned more about joining our church family.
