A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to work on the Central on Garland campus Sunday!
Words cannot express the gratitude I have for each of you. There is something incredibly special about the church coming together simply to tackle some pretty big projects—and you all got A LOT accomplished in just a few hours!
If you walk around the campus, you’ll notice that:
A huge portion of the backyard has been cleared out.
Several of our storage rooms have been cleared, cleaned, and organized.
The kitchen pantry is looking phenomenal!
The courtyard looks spectacular as well as the benches.
And so much more was accomplished throughout the building.
But even better than the work itself was the fellowship and time we shared together. This is what being the church looks like—people showing up, rolling up their sleeves, serving alongside one another, and creating a space where ministry and hospitality can flourish.
As we continue preparing Central on Garland, we are preparing more than a building. We are preparing a place where we can be the church that says we are going to love God and love others radically—and where we can offer a space of hospitality for people to experience that love.
Thank you for giving your time, your energy, and your gifts. I am incredibly grateful for every one of you!
