From hands-on chesed projects to meaningful Shabbat dinners, Teen Tuesday at VBS is all about connection, community, and unforgettable experiences. 🤝💙

This week, our teens partnered with Sharsheret for a special chesed project, putting Jewish values into action while supporting an important cause. Later, they gathered around the Shabbat table for an evening filled with laughter, tradition, and meaningful conversations.

Teen Tuesday at VBS creates space for spiritual growth, strong friendships, and moments that stay with our teens long after the night ends.

Honoring Two Extraordinary Educators!

Our ECC community celebrated Bianca Broomand and Jandira Raphael — two teachers who have had a profound impact on children, families, and the future of Jewish life.

Bianca received the prestigious Simha and Sara Lainer Distinguished Educator Award, an honor presented annually to only three educators across BJE-affiliated schools.

Jandira recieved this year's Valley Beth Shalom Moreh Award, an honor given to a distinguished teacher within one of VBS' three schools.

Mazal tov to Bianca and Jandira — so well deserved, and a beautiful reflection of the wisdom, heart, and excellence our ECC faculty brings to this sacred work.
