In a few hours the fast of Tisha B Av ( the 9th day of the Hebrew month of Av) will begin (7:50 PM). We mourn the destruction of the Temples and disconnection from G-d which resulted till this day. We mourn that we have not yet repaired the mistakes that prevent the final redemption and the much longed for era of world peace.

If you have never observed Tisha B Av consider a small step. No breakfast. No lunch. No sweets. No music. Many ways to feel a part of our national time of mourning.
