We had a fun evening last Thursday night at our Paint Night! Over 30 Sisterhood members and guests created masterpieces as we laughed and cried trying to follow the art teacher! Pictures below show the beautiful paintings that were created.

We’re having a Planning Meeting for the new year this Thursday May 14 at 7:30 for those interested in helping us plan for next year. Please come!

We had an insightful and engaging evening last night at the screening of the documentary “The Levy’s of Monticello”. Over 90 VBS community members witnessed an incredible story and heard from the filmmaker Steve Pressman. Thank you to Janet for arranging the showing of this important film. If you missed last night you can watch the film (along with Steve’s other documentaries) on Amazon Prime.

Are you a history buff? Did you know that a Jewish family (the Levy’s) preserved Monticello far longer than Thomas Jefferson and his descendants?

Well come to our screening of “The Levy’s of Monticello” this coming Thursday night and find out more! The filmmaker will be here to answer questions after the screening. This is a fascinating documentary you won’t want to miss.

What a beautiful gathering we had last night! The VBS Sisterhood Women’s Seder was a huge success with 36 attendees and enjoyed by all. Thank you to Rabbi Aranoff and Cantor Weiss for leading us in a meaningful Seder. A huge shout out to Debbie, Barbara and Janet for planning all of the food and wine!
