Our Tikun Olam project for the evening will be to collect school supplies for children through LA Family Housing.

Our year-end event last night, Games Night, was a huge success and a lot of fun! Close to 40 Sisterhood members and guests enjoyed playing Maj Jong, Canasta, and Rumacube. We ate a delicious dinner from LA Kosher, drank wine, and put our tickets in for our wonderful raffle. Congrats to all the raffle winners and thanks to everyone who brought canned food and paid for raffle tickets to go towards the VBS Food Bank. A huge shout out to Eileen, Jobina, Claudia, Janet, Lauren and Joyce for all your help. Looking forward to more engaging events in the coming year! Don’t forget to sign up to be a member of VBS Sisterhood when renewing your VBS membership!

We had a fun evening last Thursday night at our Paint Night! Over 30 Sisterhood members and guests created masterpieces as we laughed and cried trying to follow the art teacher! Pictures below show the beautiful paintings that were created.

We’re having a Planning Meeting for the new year this Thursday May 14 at 7:30 for those interested in helping us plan for next year. Please come!
