Rock River Bible Camp is a camping facility located east of Dixon off Illinois Route 2, easily reached from Rockford, Freeport, Chicago and Illinois-Iowa Quad Cities. Our facilities are perfect for hosting week long or weekend Retreats for churches, Christian schools and ministry organizations with the ability to plan and staff your own program! We also host our own series of week long camps for students in first grade through high school seniors. Rates are low for overnight or day use, with additional discounts available. Rustic cabin accommodations- each sleeping ten, with separate restroom and shower facilities, for up to 100 guests! Two cabins are complete with heat and shower facility. Our dining hall is equipped with plenty of tables and a wood burning fireplace that serves as a central meeting or activity room. A recently renovated kitchen is also available for your own camp cooking. Our cedar Chapel, overlooking the Rock River, is available for worship or teaching and our full-size gymnasium for basketball, volleyball and other indoor group activities is located at the top of the hill! A picnic shelter/pavilion is nestled on the river bank, which provides an additional gathering place, with nearby fire pit. With wooded trails for outdoor recreation and education and the Rock River available for boating, canoeing and fishing, you won't be able to get enough of the outdoors!

The link below has a full list and a sign up so we know what to look out for and what we may need to purchase once everything is collected.
Please notice the submit date of July 6th. We want to ensure we have everything before camps start so that nothing goes to waste once our camps are over.

This month we want to say thank you to this group of people - our representatives!
What's a representative? They come from our member churches and hold a position on the board to speak and vote for their church. After our board meetings they report to their church on any pertinent information like financial needs, project updates, camp numbers etc.
We are so grateful for their dedication to camp and their churches!
Remember if you have any camp questions or concerns you can always share them with one of these smiling faces!

We are planning for a work day on the 20th of June starting at 9. Lunch will be provided.
We know you might already have Father’s Day weekend plans but we would love to see you if you can make it out!

On the docket for this workday -

• trail cleanup (clearing it with brush hog, spraying, clearing felled trees and general sticks)
• disc golf course cleanup
• power washing buildings
• clearing out dumpster area
• sweeping and cleaning rec hall
• clearing w**ds around standalone trees
• w**d picking
And if time allows cleaning up the garage by the house as prep for future tear down.

Brings your work gloves, tools you might need/want, and wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and wet.
