Great things are happening at St. John's. Our New Members Meeting was enthusiastically attended with all in attendance wanting more. And more there shall be. With the fall and winter activities ramping up, a new Bible study will commence in January. The "God's Work, Our Hands" donation area is overflowing, and folks are bringing their favorite dishes this coming Sunday for our Nifty Fifty Cafe. Come and join us. Worship is at 10:30am every Sunday.

CONGRATULATIONS to George Brown, who this morning, welcomed the newest member of his family......grandson Otto George weighing 9lbs 9oz. George said mother and baby are doing "just fine".

Chef Harold nailed it again. "That's the best fried chicken ever." Said several guests. It was paired with Mexican Corn Cakes, bread/butter, fruit, donut, and assorted beverages. Our crew of 13 volunteers rolled out the hospitality. Thanks to all for your efforts. And thank you to Thrivent for the financial support.

Please keep the extended family of our former pastor, Pr. Jonathon, in your prayers. Today, at noon, he will be officiating at the funeral of his 16 year old cousin, Bella, who was killed in a motor vehicle accident last Thursday. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
