We trust that weather will be good this Wednesday as we go to Brookville Church of the Nazarene at 5 pm to sing carols and hear the glorious story of Christmas. Darla Mort has organized this to encourage her church. They lost two pastors to cancer in the last 2 years: Al Robertson and Keith Smith. Pastor Mike Hancock will lead the service. Darla and Becky Hancock will provide organ and piano accompaniment. Refreshments will be served for fellowship time after the Carol Sing-along. Join us this week at Brookville Nazarene!!

We had a bittersweet reunion with Jerry and Vicki Carter and Susan Pauley Kirby and family on April 8. It was the funeral of Jerry and Vicki’s 42-year-old son, Bret. We have kept in touch with Carter’s especially in our last 10 years here in Xenia. Please pray for the comfort of the Carters as the journey through this grief.

Stephen passed away last week after a battle with Cancer. We have been able to see him occasionally since he was pastoring on the southwest Ohio district and we would go to district events. If anyone wants an address for his mother or his wife, you can connect with me on messenger.
