Schoenstatt of Ohio

Schoenstatt of Ohio Schoenstatt is a Roman Catholic Marian Movement founded in Germany by Fr. Joseph Kentenich in 1914. The Ohio Shrine is in the planning stages.

Although Archbishop Schnurr has expressed the desire to give the property to Schoenstatt of Ohio, the transfer of the property requires approval of two different groups. The Finance Council and the College of Counsultors (e.g. the priest's council) both must approve before transfer can occur. The Finance Council has approved. We are waiting on the College of Counsultors. Until then we would ask fo

r each of you to pray for Our Blessed Mother's guidance and illumination of the path she wants us to tread in this journey of seeking to build a shrine in Springfield, Ohio. Rosary events and rosary walks are held at the site for the shrine. The address is:
4444 Middle Urbana Road, Springfield 45503. The entrance is at Parking Lot #'s 140- 160 at Kenton Ridge High School.
