MVLA is having its biggest initiative yet! We will be going out into the community to give back to an historical site once known as the West Side “Y”.

The West Side “Y” will soon be home to the Early Vision Purpose Center. Learn more by visiting their website : https:// earlyvisions.org/

They are hosting a fundraiser on Saturday July 24, 2021. It is their 1st annual Vintage Garden Tea Party and they need us to volunteer our time to bring this party to reality.

There are multiple time slots to sign up for:
Saturday, July 24 Noon to 2pm: Event set up
Saturday, July 24 2pm to 4pm: Event decorations
*Please note that your clothing is most likely going to get dirty (or possibly ruined).

For the opportunities found on the website below, you are asked to dress in formal attire from the 1950’s or your best casual clothing for those volunteering from 5-10pm.

Once you arrive at the event site on Saturday, you will need to locate Mrs. Liz.

Purpose: This is a volunteer opportunity that provides the chance to give back to ladies of the past, present, and future of the Miami Valley.

Where: The event will be held in an area on Conover Street directly behind the early vision purpose center at 236 S. Paul Laurence Dunbar, the center’s home.

Together we can look at what we thought we knew about God and worship, and experience firsthand what it could look like instead.

This breakout is open to anyone over the age of 10.
