As students and teachers head back to school and begin a new school year today, let us join together in prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,
Please guide and direct our students and teachers as they begin a new school year. Lord, wrap your arms around them and put them in your hands. Please protect them.
Give them the wisdom they need to be successful. Give them the dedication and determination they need for a great school year. Help them to have a smile on their face and to treat others the way you would want them to.
In your name I pray, Amen.

🎒 BACKPACK BLESSING — Tomorrow Morning

As a new school year begins, we want every student to carry this truth with them:
❤️ You are wonderfully made.

Students of all ages—from PreK through college—are invited to bring their backpacks to worship in the morning, for a special Backpack Blessing.

Each student will receive a “Wonderfully Made” backpack tag featuring the words of Psalm 139:14—a reminder they can carry with them all year long: “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”

🎒 Bring your backpack. Bring a friend. And let’s begin the new school year together, remembering who we are and whose we are!
