This morning, we were blessed to be able to deliver all the supplies that had been collected by the Sunday school. Thank you to all who donated! We were also able to see part of the new pregnancy center building. They're having an open house June 23rd from 4-6pm.

Y’all know her?

This month, we are excited to shine the spotlight on one of our outstanding middle school teachers! Ms. Kristin Houston teaches math to our sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students. She is known as the team's "task master”. She helps keep everyone organized by managing calendars, schedules, and important dates, ensuring that students, families, and colleagues stay informed and on track.
A true team player, Ms. Houston values collaboration and enjoys working with colleagues to find logical solutions to challenges. Her passion for mathematics is evident in every lesson as she helps students build confidence through repeated practice, clear step-by-step processes, and opportunities to apply their learning.
To spark engagement from the moment class begins, each lesson starts with a Question of the Day that encourages students to think, share ideas, and connect with one another. By creating an interactive and supportive learning environment, Ms. Houston helps students develop problem-solving skills while fostering meaningful classroom discussions.
We are grateful for her dedication, organization, and commitment to helping students succeed in mathematics and beyond! Thank you, Ms. Houston!
