As we celebrate today with friends and family, let us not forget the reason for our extended weekend. Today, we honor those who gave their lives for our country to ensure our freedom and protect our way of life. Without their sacrifice and willingness to step up, we would not be the great nation that we are today.

We truly are the "Home of the free because of the Brave" and we thank each of our fallen military members and their families as we remember them today. May God bless each of you as he watches over all of us this day.

We are wishing a Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms on Earth and in Heaven. We honor all mother's today: those who are expecting, new moms, step-moms, foster-moms, adoptive moms, those who have lost children, those who have lost their mother's, single moms, and mother figures.

Each of you are a blessing and we hope you have a lovely day of rest and relaxation. It is well-earned with all that you do for your children.

Proverbs 31: 25-31

25 Strength and honor are her clothing;
She shall rejoice in time to come.
26 She opens her mouth with wisdom,
And on her tongue is the law of kindness.
27 She watches over the ways of her household,
And does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:

Tho chilly, this weekend is shaping up to be simply beautiful and just in time for the Flying Pig Marathon! We will not have services this Sunday as the roads will be closed, but wanted to wish all the race participants the best of luck and we hope they have a fantastic time running tomorrow morning!
