Today, the Bishops of the United States will consecrate the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Parishes and individuals around the country are encouraged to join the U.S. Catholic bishops in this historic occasion, beginning with this Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus written for the consecration.

Our mission trip participants made it safely to the Mustard Seed Community, Blessed Assurance, in Jamaica. Father Martin had to stay back to rest up after his hernia surgery. He is feeling better each day but missing being with the group. They are having a wonderful time interacting with the residents of this beautiful community! Stay tuned for pictures of the trip, which will be posted after they return this weekend. Please keep praying for this mission trip!

On June 11, the United States Bishop’s will be consecrating our country to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in honor of the 250th celebration of the country's founding.

Kimberly and I found that enthroning the Sacred Heart in our home has been a great blessing. I encourage everyone to consider adopting this sacred custom as a wonderful way to share in the special grace of the national consecration.

Our Catholic men's group, led by Randall "Sonny" Rechtin, organized our first rosary procession between Divine Mercy in Bellevue and St. Bernard in Dayton, Kentucky this morning. It was a beautiful time of prayer to honor Our Lady and implore her intercession!
