What a great mission! I'm so grateful to all the people at Christ Church who dedicate their time to this.

We provide more than food. We provide community, where neighbors help each other.

That's what happens every night at 901 York St. Someone catches up with a familiar face, checks in on how their week went, stands shoulder to shoulder with another neighbor before dinner is even served. That's the part people don't always see.

None of it happens without support. $10 helps provide 5 warm meals for a neighbor tonight.

This Sunday, during the sacred season of Pentecost, Pastor Diane, will deliver a sermon based on the scriptures, Genesis 21:8-21 and Psalm 86:1-10, The scripture in Genesis is about the banishment of Hagar and Ishmael and God keeping his promise to protect them. The scripture in Psalms is a heartfelt, passionate prayer of distress in which King David cries out to God for mercy and protection. We welcome all and hope to see you there!

Pastor Diane heard from the Brighton Center that they are desperate for food right now. SNAP benefits were cut starting in June and Brighton Center has already used up their food for the month of June because of the need.
