This weekend your Vestry stepped away to pray, listen, and discern.
Friday night we built community.
Saturday we leaned into clarity and courage.

We explored a potential Capital Campaign — not as a building project, but as faithfulness to our mission. We asked hard questions, named hopes and hesitations, and tested for spiritual alignment.

We also began discerning our key priorities for 2026 and the leadership needed to carry them forward.

Our posture:
Trust over anxiety.
Courage over scarcity.
Mission over maintenance.

Grateful for leaders committed to stewarding the future together.

As we look ahead to Sunday, we are closely monitoring the winter weather forecast for Saturday night into Sunday morning. Current projections suggest the potential for significant snowfall in the Cincinnati area. Because this Sunday includes both our combined worship service and Annual Meeting, we want to prioritize safety and full participation for all.

This year, why not join us as we explore spiritual disciplines during Calvary Community Hour? It's all about practice, curiosity, and attentiveness. It is a season for trying things on, letting go of what does not fit, and noticing what helps us live more fully and faithfully. Most Community Hour sessions meet at 10am on Sundays in Hannaford Hall.
