Crossroads Church Whatever your thoughts on church, whatever your beliefs about God, you are welcome here. In 1995, we wanted a place where we could bring our friends.

And we were a little wary of hugging strangers, church lingo, and—quite frankly—bad coffee and kum-ba-yah. Over the years, eleven friends turned into thousands of people seeking truth and authentic community. And you’re invited to join in. We don’t expect you to agree with everything we do or say. We just ask that you’re open to considering the possibility that there is a God who loves and pursues you.

Darkness feels heavy because you were never meant to live there.

The pain, the hopelessness, the places you've stopped praying: all of it is seen by Jesus. He doesn't just show up to change what's there. He shines on it.

He is the light when all around you feels darkest.

Are you willing to take a step in the dark?

Our eyes can only take in a fraction of a percent of the available light at any given time. There’s light all around you that you aren’t even capable of perceiving. What if the same thing is true spiritually?

Even when it feels like we’re moving in complete darkness, the light of the world is always with you. So even when it feels like you’re moving in the dark, keep moving.

God made you with the personality, gifts, and wisdom He intended you to have. Don’t hide them.

More than anything, the world needs the light only Jesus can bring. It might be through your story that they find it.

Chuck’s last line says it all.

The suffering you face isn’t pointless. It’s not a sign God doesn’t care. It’s critical for our growth, reliance on Him, and most of all, knowing we are deeply loved by God.
