*Faqir ShahNoor Miyan hereby declare that the Hilal of SAFAR 1448H was NOT SIGHTED at anyplace in Mainland USA and Canada on the 29th of MUHARRAM 1448H - Tuesday, July 14, 2026.*

*As such the month of Muharram will complete 30 days and the first day of SAFAR will be on THURSDAY, July 16, 2026 in North America.*

*May Allah reward all our Shahideen- the Moon Sighting Volunteers of Mahdavia Rui'yat e Hilal, who made an effort to sight the Hilal.*

As such the first day of ZILHAJJ 1447 Hijri will be on Monday, May18, 2026 in North America.

May Allah reward all our Shahideen -(Mahdavia Rui'yat e Hilal Volunteers) for their overwhelming response to Faqir's Appeal to sight the Hilal . May Allah accept their efforts to sight the Hilal upholding the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Mohammad SAS, Ameen
