Jamadi us Sani 1447H Declaration

Faqir ShahNoor Mohammad Miyan hereby declares that the Hilal of Jamadi us Sani 1447 Hijri was sighted at multiple locations in mainland USA including by our Shahideen on the 29th of Jamadi ul Awwal - Friday, November 21, 2025.

Brother Syed Rasheed Khundmiri, Millsap, near Forth Worth, Texas sighted the Hilal with naked eyes after Maghrib prayers. Also, we have confirmed naked eye hilal sighting reports from other locations in Texas and Tampa, Florida.

As such the first day of Jamadi us Sani 1447 Hijri will be Saturday, November 22, 2025 in N. America.

May Allah reward all our Shahideen - (Mahdavia Rui'yat e Hilal Volunteers) for their efforts to sight the Hilal in accordance with the Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad SAS, Ameen

*A Great Tradition Mahdavies Should Keep It Up*

On every 10th of Muharram, Mahdavi Muslims all over the world perform a tradition. They meet or call over telephone or by means of letters or now a days through Social Media contact their relatives, friends (close or distant) and even those with whom their relations are strained. They apologize to them for their own words and deeds by which they had hurt the feelings or offended them intentionally or unintentionally. They seek apology from the others and the others too in response seek apology.

This is how an exchange of mutual forgiving takes place. If this is done sincerely, the minds of both the persons are cleared and their hearts become free from impurities of the mutual grudges and animosities.

It is said that Imam Hussain RZ did this with all his family members and his companions before going into the battlefield. This is the origin of the tradition. We remember Imam Hussain Rz and his martyrdom, his sacrifices and his struggle to protect and defend the Faith brought by his Grand Father (May Allah give him peace).

Faqir ShahNoor Mohammad Miyan makes an earnest appeal to all the brothers and sisters in Faith to keep alive the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet MuhammadSAS and try to sight the New Moon (Hilal) of Ziqadh on the 29th of Shawwal 1446H which happens to be on Monday, April 28, 2025 in North America•

Numerous traditions (Ahadith) promise immense Divine reward for those who try to keep a Sunnah of the ProphetSAS alive.

Please remember what our Imam, the Promised Mahdi e Ma’udAHS taught us. He said: _”Our religion is the Book of God and following Muhammad, the Messenger of God SAS_

Totally depending upon declarations based on astronomical calculations of the _”experts"_ we cannot do away with the Sunnah of the Prophet SAS viz. based on both the word and the deed of the ProphetSAS. Astronomical calculations can only help us in determining the possible date and time of visibility of New Moon. However, sighting the New Moon is a requirement of Shariah. Hence, it is a matter of Sawab (divine reward).Our beloved ProphetSAS had commanded us to sight the new moon and start fasting and also to sight the moon and break fasting. Some traditions in this matter even ask us not to start fasting without sighting the moon and not to stop fasting without sighting the moon. Moreover, the ProphetSAS used to sight the New Moon himself and used to pray to God and thank Him if Hilal was seen.

This humble Faqir assures you all that if at least ten percent of the Muslims make an effort to sight the New Moon on the 29th of every Lunar Month there would be no dispute anywhere in the world about the new month. So let us follow the Sunnah and be rewarded by our Lord, the Merciful, and the Munificent.
