This September, NALM invites you to participate in one of four Conversations in the Spirit (two in Spanish and two in English). Together we will prayerfully reflect on our baptismal call, our co-responsibility for the Church’s mission, and the role of the laity today. Guided by the Holy Spirit, participants will share experiences and hopes for the future of lay ministry. Insights will be synthesized and submitted to the USCCB for the 2027 successor to Co-Workers in the Vineyard. Theme Two: Diversity and Ministry, sr. Joanna Okereke, Darius Villalobos and Cecilia Flores stimulated an insightful discussion on how the Holy Sprit is leading us to embrace diversity and raise up the gifts of all the baptized.

Theme Three: Co-responsible and Synodality. This morning, Fr. Wayne Cavalier, Sr. Marie Kilbe Zamora, and Stacy Noem led us in a lively discussion on how the Spirit is leading us to grow our understanding of and practice of ministry in light of co-responsibility and synodality.
