Greetings to our partners and friends!
The Coalition last met on Wednesday July 7th on zoom to debrief our joy filled day at the Pride Parade! We were excited to celebrate our presence in the parade, our pre-parade worship service, and all the volunteers that helped make the morning so special!
As we move forward, we are looking for other opportunities for the Coalition to make a difference in Chicago with the help of our partner churches. We are open to expanding our efforts but can only do so with the help of our partners. If your church is interested in having a representative join our team to talk about future events and how we can make an impact in our city and surrounding suburbs.
Please join us for our next meeting, Wednesday August 6th from 6:30 - 7:30 pm on Zoom!

Greetings to our partners and friends!

On June 29, 2025, the Chicago Coalition of Welcoming Churches marched - with 40 member churches and organizations represented and 150 people gathered together - in the 2025 Chicago Pride Parade!

Our theme this year is Together in Faith, United in Pride, Rooted in Love!

We also had an amazing joint Pre-Pride Worship Service hosted at Broadway United Methodist Church Chicago,IL. (service recap link below)

The Chicago Coalition of Welcoming Churches is thankful to all our volunteers who worked hard this planning season - to provide ideas and to speak up and share their concerns - as we worked to make our participation in this year's Pride Parade a success.

We couldn't have done it without you!

We are also grateful to our generous member churches who renewed their memberships with us.
