“Be still, and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10

There is something deeply comforting about the fact that God never asks us to carry the weight of life alone.

So many people are exhausted from trying to hold everything together. Trying to predict the future. Trying to fix every situation. Trying to control outcomes that were never theirs to control in the first place.

But God does not ask us to live in constant striving.

He asks us to trust Him.

Sometimes being still is one of the hardest acts of faith because stillness requires surrender. It means believing that God is still working even when nothing around you seems to be changing. It means trusting that Heaven is active even when life feels uncertain. It means laying down the pressure to have every answer and allowing God to be God.

The beautiful thing about the Lord is that He sees every hidden burden people carry. He sees the tiredness no one talks about. He sees the prayers whispered through tears. He sees the moments where you smile in front of others while silently battling fear within yourself.

And yet, through all of it, you are still here.

Still praying.
Still believing.
Still holding onto faith even if your hands are trembling.

That matters more than you realize.

God is not disappointed in your weakness. He is near to you in it. Scripture never says that God is close only to the strong. In fact, throughout the Bible, God continually draws near to weary people, grieving people, anxious people, uncertain people, and reminds them that His strength is greater than their limitations.

Sometimes we think God only moves through dramatic moments, but often He works in ways we cannot immediately recognize. While you are waiting, God is preparing. While you are confused, God is ordering steps ahead of you. While you are wondering whether things will ever work out, God is already making a way where you cannot yet see one.

And one day you will look back and realize that God carried you through seasons you thought would break you.

He turns mourning into joy.
He restores what pain tried to steal.
He brings peace to hearts that have been overwhelmed for far too long.

So today, breathe deeply and release the weight you were never meant to carry alone. God’s plans do not require panic. They require trust.

Be still.

Not because life is perfect.
Not because every prayer has already been answered.
But because God is faithful.
Copied.
