Hello, Alliance Women Worldwide!
A ministry environment that is positive and promotes growth doesn’t happen by chance. It takes intentional effort from each member of the team but starts with the leader. As leaders, we want to create an environment where team members can grow and thrive.
Our role as Christian ministry leaders is to build up the body of Christ and help each member step into their giftedness and who God created them to be. We want to help them find their place in the church and to develop them to become men and women that the Lord can use.
We invite you to join the virtual AWF Women’s Ministries Leadership Event, hosted by the Leadership Committee on April 28, 2026, via Zoom. This gathering is designed to be a learning opportunity as we hear from Terri Groh.
Terri serves as the Northeastern District Alliance Women’s Director, serves on the U.S. National Team, and is a member of the AWF Women’s Ministries Leadership Team. Terri has over 30 years’ experience in leadership roles and is a published author of seven books. She will be presenting a webinar on material found in her new book, Fostering a Positive Ministry Environment, which is a workbook designed to help ministry leaders reflect on how to create an environment of growth.
We will be discussing the following questions in breakout rooms following Terri’s webinar.
1. What qualities and characteristics define a “positive ministry environment” to you?
2. How would your current ministry setting look or change if you could cultivate an environment of growth and encouragement?
3. What intentional ways do you build up and celebrate the strengths of your team?
