Today we started a new project! It reminded me of Karate Kid the movie. We sanded the floor and painted the fence (deck railing). It was a lot of sanding. We also demoed the stairs and are rebuilding them. Tomorrow is our last day and it will be a half day.

Recreated a picture from the last Altoona mission trip! Youth group worked hard on Tuesday to finish up Ms. Joyce’s landscape project. We removed 3-4 dumpsters worth of leaves and debris from her garden beds and yard. She was very grateful and shared with us her heart for Jesus.

Day 1 on the worksite for the youth group! Joyce our homeowner lives on a wonderful property however unfortunately her husband passed last year and she is unable to keep up with her yard and her fence fell over in the front yard. We demoed the fence and are clearing weeds and debris all over the property. Despite the long day of rain we got a lot done.
