Congratulations to the Rt. Rev. Richard T. Lawson III, who was consecrated bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama on June 27, 2026, by the Most Rev. Sean Rowe, Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church.

We at St. Mary’s were honored to serve as hosts for part of the weekend’s celebrations, and we look forward to serving with Bishop Lawson!

COMING TO ST. MARY'S THIS SUMMER!

Build for a Purpose
Saturday, August 15 / 9:00 AM-4:00 PM / Swan Lake Stables

Built for a Purpose is a fun day for 3rd-8th grade boys to create, sing, be silly, and learn about Jesus. Through hands-on activities and Biblical teaching, boys discover they are unique masterpieces created by God for His glory. Using tools, playing games, and learning new skills are part of the day. BFAP helps boys learn about Jesus in a way that affects their lives. They leave with reminders of the God who made, loves, saves, and desires a relationship with them. This program also offers men a chance to invest in the next generation, teaching God's Word and demonstrating His character through relationships. Men and Senior High boys are needed to lead building projects, games, cooking, worship, and Bible teaching.
