Over the past week, Advent pilgrims have been with Amistad Mission sharing worship, games, meals, and meaningful moments with the children and families in Bolivia. From Bible studies and birthday celebrations to bracelet making, pizza nights, and minute-to-win-it games, each day has been filled with joy, friendship, and reminders of God’s love. We are grateful for the relationships that continue to grow through this special partnership.

This morning, we had the joy of welcoming a new class of confirmands into our church family, our 6th grade confirmands at the 9:00 service and our adult confirmands at the 11:00 service.

Thank you, Bishop Curry, for joining us on such a special day, and thank you to the clergy, staff, and volunteers who faithfully helped prepare our youth and adults for confirmation and membership. To our new confirmands, we are delighted to welcome you fully into the life of Advent!

The Cathedral Choir will sing a concert on Sunday, April 26 at 4 PM at the Advent as a preview for their tour to England in July. Come support our Cathedral Choir and wish them well on their upcoming pilgrimage.
