Save the date for the 20s & 30s Fall Kick-Off dinner that will be held on Sunday, September 13! We will be joined by Advent member and psychologist Jen Green, who will speak on navigating the defining shifts of our twenties and thirties with resilience, and how grace meets us right where we are.

Paul Zahl will again lead us to consider one-way love as it shows up in cinema. “One-way love” describes God’s grace towards sinners: the great change agent of life.

Join us at Cranmer House tonight, August 5, and next Wednesday, August 12, beginning at 7:00pm. We will watch Susan and God on August 5 and Phone Call from a Stranger on August 12. Feel free to invite friends!

Save the dates for two very important events this fall! Rally Day is September 13 and the Fall Parish Picnic is October 4 at Region’s Field. Please note that these events will take place on separate dates this year. We look forward to this time together as a church family!

Join us for the First Annual Advent Men’s Cookout on Sunday, August 16 in the Refectory at 5:00-7:00 PM. Cost is $12. All men are welcome!

We will be serving hotdogs and hamburgers as well as any meat brought by our hunter parishioners. Sides will be provided!

Help us get Park Place students ready for a great school year! View the link in our bio to order supplies— you can even send them directly to Advent!

Donate school supplies over the next two Sundays in Clingman Commons or drop them off at the front office during the week.

Volunteers are also needed to sort supplies on August 6 from noon–2:00 p.m. before the Back to School Bash on August 7 from 4:00–5:30 p.m.
