NOW HIRING: Part-Time Nursery Supervisor

United Methodist Ministries of Mecosta County is seeking a caring, dependable Nursery Supervisor for our First Church campus in downtown Big Rapids.

This paid, part-time position primarily serves during Sunday morning worship, with occasional additional services or activities as scheduled. The Nursery Supervisor will provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants and young children.

Ideal candidates will:

* Enjoy working with infants and young children
* Be dependable and communicate well with families and staff
* Help create a welcoming and inclusive environment
* Successfully complete a background check
* Hold or obtain current CPR and First Aid certification

Our teen book study group ended the summer by making recipe boxes that contain each of the themes from the book with corresponding Bible verses...The Recipe for the Ultimate Life inspired by The Ultimate Gift by Jim Stovall. The boxes turned out great, and reflect each teen (and group leader) so well!

We are excited to introduce John Davis as the new Executive Director of Love In the Name of Christ of Mecosta County!

John joins Love INC of Mecosta County from Love In the Name of Christ of Newaygo County, where he served as the Operations and Development Director. Throughout his career, John has served in ministry through local churches and Christian camping alongside his wife, Andrea, of 16 years. Andrea currently serves at The Shack, a ministry of Grace Adventures.

John has a passion for serving local churches and bringing them together around the mission of Love INC: mobilizing local churches to transform lives and communities In the Name of Christ.

John will officially join Love INC of Mecosta County in mid-September, and he is looking forward to getting to know the community, building relationships with area churches, and serving alongside our partners.

Please join us in welcoming John to Love INC of Mecosta County as he begins this new chapter of ministry and leadership!
