TODAY'S VERSE
That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. II Corinthians 4:16

TODAY'S THOUGHT
Paul experienced over and over again God's "hope for the helpless." While in prison, while shipwrecked, while being persecuted or barely having enough to eat, he knew God in a deep and personal way and determined to never give up. He writes, "Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day." Though he was weary, exhausted and many times his back was up against the wall, he was not hopeless or disheartened. Instead, through the power of the Holy Spirit, deep in his soul he was emboldened, and encouraged. Christ sustained him. Every day the hope of Jesus Christ's soon return and the love of God caused him to be renewed, strengthened and invigorated. He was full of hope. This is what strengthens me day to day even though I have had extremely difficult circumstances such as death threats, ridicule and abandonment through preaching the gospel, I haven't experienced the depth of what Paul went through. You can be encouraged too. Let the presence of Christ and the awareness of His deep love for you give you all you need for this day. Don't give up; instead, ask God to renew you today.

TODAY'S PRAYER
Dear Father, you know how weary I can become. You know how easily I can let my circumstances influence me. I pray today, help me by Your Spirit become conscious of Your mighty presence and strength that works within me. Renew my heart, renew my mind, fill me with Your strength and courage. In Jesus' name. AMEN

The definition of Revival is: to bring back to life what was dead or close to death.

(John 17:3) "And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth."

Thank you for drawing me to you, Jesus for your life!

Knowing God is an ever growing relationship. We grow in this relationship through studying the Bible (The Word of God), through prayer (worship, praise, thanksgiving, asking and listening), and through the covenant friendship of the church.
If we have been receiving the Word of God and putting order in our lives by the grace of God according to the Spirit of Truth, this is true repentance. We change the way we think and do things for the way God thinks and does things. God is seeking for us to come in agreement with Him and know Him. This effects every area of our lives. We also are to speak His Word to others so that they may also come in agreement with the King of Glory, Jesus the Son of God. We cry out for more laborers for the harvest with this mentality. Glorify yourself, Almighty God!

TODAY’S VERSES

TODAY’S THOUGHT
God is in the transforming business. I have seen it over and over again. God transformed Joseph’s situation. Joseph told his brothers, decades after they sold him to slave traders, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good.” The transforming process through the Holy Spirit alows us to experience the healing hand of God, times of sweet intimate communion during hard days when He seemed silent and uninvolved. – But of this I am sure: God has used these events to transform our lives! – I can testify without hesitation that it is true – in God’s hands the object of one’s greatest pain does become the source of one’s greatest blessing. There is freedom in Christ, and He desires to transform you and me more and more into His likeness. Today bring your cares, burdens, and situations to Him and let Him begin to transform you.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Holy Spirit, I ask that You transform my bo***ge into Your freedom. Transform my pain into Your blessing. Transform my life into Your likeness. In Jesus’ name. AMEN

TODAY'S VERSE
"Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it." Psalms 34:14 (NLT)

TODAY'S THOUGHT
Who said peace is easy? Anyone can be at peace when there aren't any problems. Instead we need to work for it. Peace is not the absence of conflicts but rather the guarding of the heart in Christ through the faith and knowledge of truth in Christ Jesus. Therefore, we are to turn from evil and pursue peace. We need to let go of our selfish ambitions and instead, do good to others. Love and peace are an overflow of living/abiding in Christ and therefore to others. If peace alludes us, we are to search for it by letting Jesus be Lord and trusting in His leadership. Finally, we are to work hard at maintaining or guarding the peace that we do have. This means turning the other cheek, preferring others over our own self, doing to others in the way we want to be treated. It means praying for peace. Seeking God and asking for His wisdom, understanding and courage. Today, seek peace with all your heart, work hard at it.

TODAY'S PRAYER
Father and God, You desire us to be at peace in You by Your Spirit. Help me today and Your other children to be at peace with You and all those around us. Let this peace shine in and through us in these days of conflict. In Jesus' name, AMEN

TODAY'S VERSES
"May you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ. Ephesians 3:18-19

TODAY'S THOUGHT
Trying to experience the love of God is like trying to experience the ocean or a beautiful mountain vista. You can hear about it, see beautiful pictures but nothing can replace being there first hand. Even then, it is impossible to take in all of the beauty and meaning in one visit. It takes time and experience to really appreciate the magnitude and majesty of God's nature. How much more to truly understand God Himself and His great love for us? This experiential knowledge only comes with time spent in His presence, experiencing His love first hand allowing Him to live in us. As we come to God humbling ourself and admitting our needs, He comes to us with His love and grace. It is spending time with God with an openness, trust and faith that allows us to truly experience and understand the greatness of His love. Today, may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should; how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. Don't rush off to.... whatever.

TODAY'S PRAYER
Father, I come to You admitting that I need more understanding of Your love. Help me to experience it deep in my heart. Help me live in the full awareness of the love and grace You have for me. In Jesus Christ in whom I find the fullness of your love, AMEN.
