5 weeks until our first Mom Co (formerly MOPS) meeting of the school year! We have moved our group from St Peter’s over to Fellowship Christian Reformed Church on Perry Street.

TODAY is International Invite Day for MOPS! If you are looking for a community of moms to walk through this journey with you, please join us!

In Mark chapter two, Jesus was at the table in Levi’s house with many tax collectors and sinners. He was breaking bread with broken people. When the Pharisees saw who he was eating with, they asked, “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?” When Jesus heard this, he told them, “It’s not those who are well who need a doctor, but those that are sick. I didn’t come to call the righteous, but the sinners.”
I LOVE this visual and Jesus’ response. This year, we will say yes to the invitation. We will invite moms to our local groups and tell them there is a seat at the table ready for them. We will encourage them to come just as they are, because we are all broken people.
