Last Sunday was the kick-off of our fourth annual summer "Watering Hole"! Each summer Sunday, we distribute 140 bottles of complimentary cold water to patrons & vendors of the Bethesda Central Farmers Market next door. Our biblical inspiration: Abraham's example beneath the oaks of Mamre (Genesis 18:1-8). Our contemporary inspiration: the Presbyterian Rev. Fred Rogers, "Won't you be my neighbor?"

For Last Sunday’s Special Postlude …
… everyone stayed seated to enjoy Abena Ayebea Amankwah-Ayeh (Rosemary Paddy's daughter) on clarinet, accompanied by Stan Engebretson on piano, playing Henry Purcell’s Trumpet Tune in C Major. Following worship, Pastor Chuck greeted Abena along with her father and sister.
