From the music program that includes three choirs to the study programs on Sundays and Wednesdays, members and friends are invited to join in serious discussions of faith and curiosity about current issues in the life of the Christian Church today.

Curious about faith? Want to explore more in your spiritual journey? Learn about the basics of Lutheranism the first Sunday of each month. We will look at things like the Bible, Reformation, Baptism and other topics through a Lutheran lens. Gather for about 45 minutes for some interactive learning and discussion at 11:15 am in the Education Room. This series is open to anyone -- no matter what faith or non-faith. Everyone is welcome.

Do you love to sing? Join us for a day of singing, food, and fellowship! On Saturday, August 29 from 10:00am to 2:00pm, Emmanuel’s Music Ministry will host a special choir retreat open to anyone! Meet Emmanuel choir members and visitors alike at the church chapel (the building on the lefthand side of the church).
The first half of the retreat will feature an interactive vocal technique workshop led by Beth Rubens, a local, professional soprano with years of experience as a cantor, soloist, and voice teacher. After breaking for lunch (on us!), Director of Music Ministries Andrew Kullberg will lead participants in learning and rehearsing a classic choral anthem for our 9:30 am worship service the next day (Sunday, August 30).
