Abide is going to World Youth Day 2027! Several of us will be traveling to Seoul in August 2027 to join Pope Leo and over a million pilgrims from around the world for prayer, worship, and spiritual growth. And the best news is: you can come, too!

Join us for a virtual interest meeting on Friday at 6:30pm to go over the trip’s itinerary, cost, and more. We are the “official group” for St. Albert the Great and will be going with several other parishes in the Diocese of Austin. Check GroupMe for the Zoom link, hope to see you there!

Please welcome our newest Abide Core Team member, Madelyn! She serves at the Sunday Dinner chair, so feel free to say hello when you attend.

How long have you been going to Saint Albert the Great? 2 years.

Why did you say “yes” to serving on the core team? I appreciate how welcoming the whole community was to me when I got here recently moved from Panama and that’s what it’s all about for us, welcoming new young adults and serving the Parish.

Favorite Saint? It’s hard to choose between St Anthony, St. Joseph, St. Therese and St. Carlo Acutis, they are all amazing!

Coffee order or go-to snack after mass?
If I’m feeling healthy a Flat White, but if I need a little treat I’ll go for a Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso.
