Cast Your Anxiety
1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
The word cast means to throw. Not to set down gently. Not to hand over carefully. Throw it.
Peter is addressing people under real pressure, people facing suffering, difficulty, and uncertainty. And his instruction is not to manage the anxiety or reframe it. It is to cast it onto God because He cares for you.
Care is the reason. God does not ask you to hand over your anxiety as a spiritual discipline. He asks because He personally cares about what is pressing on you. He is not indifferent to your situation. He is actively concerned.
You were never designed to carry anxiety. It was never your burden to hold. The moment you realize that casting is available, continuing to carry it becomes a choice.
What are you still carrying that belongs in God's hands?
π Kingdom Reflection
What anxiety are you holding on to that you have not yet fully thrown to God?
π Prayer
Lord, I cast my anxiety on You right now. I am throwing it, not holding it. Thank You that You care personally about what I am facing. Receive it and replace it with Your peace. Amen.
π Kingdom Declaration
I cast all anxiety on God because He cares for me. I am not designed to carry what He is willing to hold.

Today's Action Step
Write down every anxiety on a piece of paper. Pray over the list and physically let it go as an act of casting it to God.
KeyHolders, drop an Amen if this word met you this morning. Cast it all to Him.
