Our hearts are broken today as we grieve the loss of our dear friend and beloved Bible teacher, Whitney Capps, who went home to be with Jesus early this morning after a courageous battle with cancer.
Whitney has been such a special part of our Revolution family over the years, joining us for so many of our Women’s events and faithfully opening and teaching God’s Word. She made us laugh, challenged and encouraged us, and always pointed us back to Jesus. We are so thankful for every moment Whitney shared with us and for the lasting impact she made on our church and in the lives of so many.
Today, there is so much sadness, but there is also so much hope. After a long and difficult battle with cancer, Whitney is completely healed. No more sickness. No more pain. She is home with Jesus, the One she loved so deeply and spent her life telling others about.
We are praying for the entire Capps family as they grieve this tremendous loss. We pray they feel the nearness, comfort, and peace of Jesus in the days ahead, and we invite our Revolution family to join us in covering them in prayer. 🤍
