If you grew up listening to CCM, you probably remember the Avalon hit "Testify to Love." You may not know that Avalon member Michael Passions was forced to leave the band when he came out as gay in the early 2000s. He and his bandmate Melissa Greene have remained close friends. When Passions got married, Greene officiated the wedding. Well, Michael Passions and Ty Herndon, a gay country music singer, have re-recorded "Testify to Love," now as an anthem for ALL love! They're joined by Melissa Greene and a choir of LGBTQ+ singers and activists.
