It was a great Thanksgiving Celebration Service at First Assembly! God is good!! “I will give thanks to you Lord, with all My heart” - Psalm 9:1

The kids learned to be thankful for God’s gift of salvation. “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬

Today in 💛BGMC Sunday💛 we found ourselves in 🌴 beautiful tropical 🌴 Palau 🇵🇼, an island nation of 250 islands 🏝️! Tourists come 🩴 to 🐡scuba dive 🐙, 🎣, 🏊‍♂️ with 🐬, relax on the beach 🏖️ and enjoy traditional 🌺island 🌼 culture with dancing 💃 and dining on bat 🦇 soup and raw stingray 🤢. For snack we opted for 🥥 rice with papaya and 🍌 😋. We learned that despite being a 🪸tropical 🐠 paradise 🪷there are many Palauans that struggle with drugs 💊, alcohol 🍻, and divorce💔. Many practice traditional island 🏝️ religions 🥁. The people of Palau 🇵🇼 need to know God’s love ❤️. We are so thankful 🙌 for the missionary family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦there 🗣️ sharing the Gospel with kids and families! Knowing Jesus ✝️ makes all the difference! ⛪️. Memory Verse: 🛶 🧍🏽‍♂️5:8.

Today we visited ✈️ the amazing country of Austria 🇦🇹, where the hills (Alps 🏔️ ) are alive with the sound 👂 of music 🎶 and yodeling (which we tried 🎤 “old lady o”. 👵🏼). Rich in culture and famous for its classical composers (like Mozart and Beethoven)🎻 , opera houses, cathedrals ⛪️ cities 🏙️ like Venice, festivals 🎪, dancing horses 🐎, decorated cows 🐮, and yummy apple 🍎 strudel👨‍🍳. Austria 🇦🇹is still a nation 🌏 that needs Jesus! We prayed 🙏 for the people of Austria🇦🇹 to know Jesus (yay-sous), especially the children👧🏼 👦🏼, youth 👱🏻‍♀️, and university students 👱🏻‍♂️. We prayed for the refuges 👨🏽👩🏻 to find hope and new life in Jesus (Yay-sous), and for Pastors 👨🏻‍🦳👨🏼 and churches ⛪️ ⛪️ to reach the lost with the help of the Holy Spirit🙌. It was a great day 🤩! 💛 BGMC Sunday destination ✈️: Paraguay 🇵🇾 Population: 7,300,000 and each one ❤️ by God! What an 🤩 time worshipping God 🙌🙌 and learning about the 👨🏽👩🏽👧🏽👦🏽 and culture of Paraguay 🇵🇾! We had a live interview 🎤 with nurse Winnie the World 🌎; learned about the Guarani people and their language ( “nara” = 🍊); watched the true missions story 🎦- “A Loaves 🥖 🥖 🥖 🥖 🥖 and Fishes 🐟🐟Miracle” and rejoiced 👏 at how God miraculously provided sausages and toys for 500 kids! ( Memory verse: Luke 9:17). We celebrated the 🍓 Strawberry Festival 🍓 by snacking on strawberries and cornbread; took time at our 🙏 prayer wall 🙏 to 🙏 for Paraguay 🇵🇾. We even made a craft to help us remember to continue to pray 🙏 for Paraguay🇵🇾 ! It was an awesome 🤩 day! Go BGMC

Yay!!!! 🙌 BGMC Sunday 💛!!!Destination ✈️ : Nicaragua🇳🇮, the land of volcanos🌋, lakes 💦 and iguana soup🦎🥣 🤢. We had an awesome time learning 🔎 about Nicaragua 🇳🇮 and it’s people 👨🏽👩🏽👦🏽 👧🏽 and culture. We made pottery 🏺, had fun playing the Laughing Game 😂 😂, practiced 🗣️ Spanish, and snacked on taquitos 😋. We also learned that God’s Word ✝️ is true (memory verse Psalm 91:11 😇 😇 ) as we watched 👀 our cool object lesson 🧫 and a true missions story about God miraculously 😮 protecting 😇 😇 a Pastor 👨🏻 from death and saving ✝️ the gunman. We also experienced God’s 💔 for the people of Nicaragua 🇳🇮. Please pray 🙏 with us for ALL the people of Nicaragua 🇳🇮 to know Jesus 🧔🏽.

Rwanda 🇷🇼 was our BGMC 💛 Kids Church destination ✈️ this week. We had an awesome time learning 🔎 about the country ⛰️ 🌴 🐐 🦒 🐘 🦓 🦍 ☕️ , making Rwandan handicrafts 🧺 with play-doh, playing a cool 😎 Rwandan kids game, and some of our bravest🙃 kids even tried the sweet potato 🍠 pudding 🍨😋. We also heard 👂the true story of how God miraculously 😮 kept a missionary family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦and neighborhood children 👩🏾‍🦱🧑🏾‍🦱safe from danger 🧨. It’s true! God will rescue us from every trap 🪤! (✝️Memory verse Psalm 91:3). Join us in praying 🙏 for the people of Rwanda 🇷🇼 to know Jesus 🧔🏽and that the churches ⛪️ ⛪️ ⛪️ will keep growing as believers show God’s love ❤️.

Today ☀️ in BGMC 💛 Sunday we landed ✈️ in Macedonia 🇲🇰 to check out the land 🗺️, peoples 👨🏻👩🏻👧🏼👦🏻, and culture. We had biscuits and jam 🥮, a favorite treat😋. We also learned there are many Muslims 🧕🏼, Roma Gypsies and others in Macedonia 🇲🇰 who need Jesus ✝️. We followed a missionary family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 as they did carnival outreach 🤡 among the Roma children 🧒🏽 👦🏻 👧🏼 and learned about a camping 🏕️ ministry to reach kids 👧🏼👦🏻👦🏽, too! BGMC supplies equipment ⛺️ 🔨 📚 to help! Our memory verse 📖 Hebrews 13:16 reminded us "Don't forget to do good and to share with those in need!" The best thing we can share with the people of Macedonia🇲🇰 is Jesus ✝️! So let's PRAY🙏, GIVE 💰, and perhaps one day GO 🏃‍♀️ just like Paul 🧔🏽 when he heard👂 the Macedonian Call 📣 (Acts 16:9)!

Welcome to Japan 🇯🇵, our BGMC 💛 country focus! We learned that Japan 🇯🇵 is famous for Cherry Blossoms 🌸, Koi fish 🐠 , sushi 🍣, and the red-crowned crane 🐦, which are often portrayed in artwork, similar to the cherry blossom Mother’s Day 👩🏼 🧑🏽‍🦰 👩🏿‍🦱 pictures the children 🧒🏽 👦🏼 🧑🏾‍🦱made. We also learned that only 1.5 % of the population are Christian ⛪️, while the remaining are worshipping idols ⛩️, ancestors 👵🏼🧓🏽, and nature 🌳. But the good news 🙌 is that missionaries, with the help of BGMC 💛are bringing the message of Jesus 🧔‍♀️ to Japan according to Romans 📖10:14-15. Please pray for open hearts ❤️ among the Japanese people.

🙌 We had an awesome time today in BGMC Sunday!!! Our country focus was
Sri Lanka 🇱🇰, a cool country that has baby Elephants 🐘 orphanages, many tropical fruits, interesting 🐒animals, rubber trees, and many types of gems 💎 including star ⭐️ sapphires and rubies. After eating Sri Lankan noodles🍜, we watched a true missions story about how God provided generously 🥭 🥭 🥭 for hungry people 👨🏾‍🦰🧒🏽🧔🏽 in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰, just like our memory verse states “And God will generously provide all you need” 2 Corinthians 9:8. We learned that 70% of the people are Buddhist🛕and only 7% are Christian ✝️. We prayed 🙏and are going to keep praying 🤲 🙏 for the people of Sri Lanka🇱🇰 to know Jesus!!

Today in BGMC Sunday we traveled 🧳 all the way to GUATEMALA 🇬🇹 with Miss Wanda as she shared about her amazing opportunity to visit the country 🌎 and preach 🎤 to hundreds of school kids 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. Our kids learned fun facts about the national bird 🐦, quetzal, pictured on their flag 🇬🇹. They made colorful 🖍️ Guatemalan kites 🪁, memorized John 14:27, and prayed 🙏 for the good news ✝️ of Jesus to reach the children of Guatemala.
