Join us this afternoon for Talk 2 Talk, UBE’s forty-five-minute video teleconferencing event plus Q & A that promises to inform, equip and inspire.
When: Sunday, June 14, 2026
Time: 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time
Topic: The Road to Raleigh – 2026 Conference: What to Expect and What to Take Back
The 2026 conference is upon us, and will you be there? We are facing interesting times for the Church and this country. What can we learn from the history of the Episcopal Church as it has attempted to make true the baptismal vow "to respect the dignity of every person"? How do we equip the saints to combat the evil of White Christian Nationalism? What is the future of black clergy in the church and more?
Join UBE National President, the Rev. Dr. Mauricio Wilson, and 2nd vice president and conference dean, Ms. Wendy Walker Wilson, as they guide us through the expectations and goals of this year's conference.

Rev. Wilson has over 25 years of experience as an Episcopal priest and more than 40 years of leadership in the church, both in the USA and in Costa Rica. He has served as a rector and has held various leadership roles at the national and diocesan levels, focusing on diversity, liturgy, and youth ministries. Additionally, he is a skilled administrative manager with a background as a CPA and auditor from his previous career.
Rev. Wilson served as an associate rector at the Cluster Parish of San José in Costa Rica and as an assistant priest at the Church of St. Matthew & St. Timothy in New York City. He has also held various positions within the Diocese of Long Island, New York, and has been the rector of All Saints Episcopal Church in Great Neck, New York. Furthermore, he has held roles in the Diocese of California and is currently serving as the rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Oakland, California.
For six years, Rev. Wilson served as the Western Regional Director of the Union of Black Episcopalians (UBE) and was the co-chair of the Northern California/Vivian Traylor Chapter. He was elected to serve as the President of UBE in July 2025. We all look forward to collaborating with him in the coming years.
