Do you hear what I hear? ... That's right, it's the joyful sounds of Christmas music! And you're invited to join in and sing along. Join in the Christmas Music Sing-a-Long THIS Sunday, December 1 at 4:00pm. The event is free, and open to everyone in the community.

Sing Your Way to Christmas! Come and join WSUMC’s own organist and composer, John Horman, as he presents excerpts from his second volume of sacred carols and secular songs to celebrate the Advent and Christmas seasons. He will lead us in deeper understanding of the “when”, “how”, and “why” of each piece so that we may sing it together with more intensity and deeper understanding. We will join our voices together in one accord, with organ, piano, and instruments!

More than 200 bags of food packaged. 153 families served. 4 churches sharing in ministry. 1 beautiful afternoon of serving the community together.

As always, thank you to Gaynelle and the Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority for helping organize today. And many thanks to ALIVEfor the extra food!

The Church of South Washington is four churches, two Baptists and two Methodists, two historically black and two historically white, that gather together to bridge our historic divide by coming together to learn, fellowship, worship, and serve the City of Alexandria.
