On 20 July 2025, The Sowers (Novena) embarked on a heartwarming Home Visit to the Society for Aged Sick, commemorating Racial Harmony Day in a truly uplifting spirit. Chairman Mr Joseph Vincent set the tone for a jubilant celebration, emphasizing the profound importance of Racial Harmony and acknowledging the residents' eager anticipation. A captivating music performance by FRIENDS, led by Ricky, ignited joy and nostalgia, while a mesmerizing change mask performance left the residents spellbound. Each resident received a beautifully framed Polaroid photograph with Change Mask Performer Solomon_Tneo Yruan Rui, fostering authentic connections. The Polaroid served as a poignant reminder, symbolizing the residents' heartfelt gratitude. Volunteers and residents alike reveled in engaging games, promoting harmony, inclusiveness, and community spirit. The visit inspired young children to value volunteering, spreading cheer and optimism among the residents. A special thanks to all volunteers who made this event truly special and meaningful for taking the time to engage with the residents and making this event a resounding success.

On April 10th, 2025, The Sowers (Novena) organized a meaningful visit to the Redemptorist Heritage Centre (RHC) for thirteen residents and five staff from Saint Joseph’s Home, accompanied by volunteers from Evergreen Ministry of Church of The Holy Spirit . Under the guidance of Father Antony Prabhu, C.Ss.R, the Redemptorist Heritage Team consists of Mrs Celina Fernandez, Jim Nigel Fernandez, Pamela and Patricia provided a warm welcome and enriching experience. The residents participated in a delightful morning of quizzes, prizes, and spiritual connection, including a visit to the shrine of Mother of Perpetual Help. As they departed, the residents felt a profound sense of joy and fulfillment. A group photo commemorated this special day. According to Saint Joseph’s Home, the visit was deemed a resounding success, with residents thoroughly enjoying the historical insights and spiritual opportunities. The experience embodied the Redemptorist Spirituality of 'Making Her Known', leaving a lasting impact on all participants.

The residents were utterly inspired and felt profoundly spiritually revitalized after visiting the church and the Shrine of Mother of Perpetual Help, where they each submitted personal petitions and reflected on the iconic symbol of hope and compassion, which was truly uplifting and instilled a sense of optimism and empowerment, and honestly, it was incredibly awe-inspiring.
