What a refreshing morning we had at the Rail Corridor! Surrounded by nature, we enjoyed a leisurely walk, meaningful conversations, and the opportunity to connect with one another.

After the walk, we gathered for brunch and shared a wonderful time of fellowship, laughter, and encouragement. Moments like these remind us of the joy of building friendships and growing together as a community.

6月13日｜停，还是不停｜重生堂第二场聚会

**安息日的邀请：停，还是不停？** 🛑

「当记念安息日，守为圣日。」——出埃及记 20:8

在这个停不下来的世界里，上帝却向我们发出温柔的邀请：停下来。

不是因为我们做得不够，而是因为我们本是被爱的。连创造天地的主，在六日的工作之后也停下来安息——上帝自己都停了，我们岂不更当学习停下？

由张大伦长老分享：停下来，不是停止行动，而是开始觉察，为上帝的同在留出空间。当我们不肯停，关系会受伤、喜乐会流失，连祷告都变得匆忙。

愿这一周，我们都能从小处开始：饭前停一停、日落前静一静、关掉手机片刻，重新回到祂面前。因为我们不是救主，我们是被爱的。

「凡劳苦担重担的人，可以到我这里来，我就使你们得安息。」——马太福音 11:28 🙏

**Last Sabbath Invitation: To Stop, or Not to Stop?** 🛑

"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy." — Exodus 20:8

In a world that never stops, God extends a gentle invitation: stop.

Not because we haven't done enough, but because we are already loved. Even the Creator of heaven and earth paused to rest after the six days of work — if God Himself stopped, shouldn't we learn to stop too?

Shared by Elder Alan Teo: To stop is not to end activity, but to begin awareness — making space for God's presence. When we refuse to stop, relationships are wounded, joy drains away, and even our prayers grow hurried.

May this week we all start small: pause before a meal, be still before sunset, switch off the phone for a moment, and return to Him. For we are not the savior; we are the beloved.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." — Matthew 11:28 🙏

🛏️ Bringing Comfort, Sharing Hope ❤️

This Sabbath afternoon, members and volunteers came together to deliver mattresses to elderly residents and vulnerable individuals in our community.

More than providing a practical need, it was an opportunity to share kindness, build connections, and remind others that they are valued and cared for.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time and energy to make this outreach possible. Small acts of love can make a lasting difference.

这个安息日下午，教会弟兄姐妹和义工们一起为社区中的长者及有需要的人士送上床褥。

这不仅是满足实际需要，更是一个传递关怀、建立联系、让人感受到自己被重视和被关爱的机会。

感谢所有愿意付出时间与精力参与服事的义工。一个小小的善举，也能为他人的生命带来深远的影响。

6月6日｜Engraved on His Hands 刻在祂掌上｜TCC

🖐️「看哪，我已将你铭刻在我掌上。」——以赛亚书 49:16

昨天，洪骏杰长老在祂的证道中，让我们一同默想一个常被遗忘的真理：我们是上帝的儿女。

正如 Richard F. Lovelace 所提醒的——我们里面其实有许多东西在抗拒这份身份。真正的圣洁，不是靠我们从别处「偷取」爱与自我接纳，而是来自我们肯安静下来，在上帝爱的火旁取暖。当我们确信自己已被刻在祂掌上，心就不再四处寻觅证明自己价值的方式。

而这份爱，从来不是停留在头脑里的道理。👐 我们看见一群年轻人,戴上手套、端起餐盘，一勺一勺地为社区分上热饭热菜。他们的服事，正是「被爱的人去爱人」最朴实的写照——因为先被上帝的火温暖,所以能把温暖传递出去。

愿我们都记得：你的名字,早已刻在祂掌中。😊

Yesterday, in Elder Thomas Ang's sermon, let us sat with a truth that we so easily forget: we are children of God.

As Richard F. Lovelace reminds us, there is plenty within us that resists this. True holiness is not built by stealing love and self-acceptance from other sources — it grows as we stop striving and simply warm ourselves at the fire of God's love. When we truly believe we are engraved on His hands, our hearts stop searching everywhere to prove our worth.

And this love was never meant to stay in our heads. 👐 We watched a group of young people put on their gloves, lift up the trays, and serve warm meals to the community, one scoop at a time. Their service is the simplest picture of the loved going out to love — warmed first by God's fire, they carried that warmth to others.

May we all remember: your name is already engraved on His hands. 😊

**6月6日｜养生之道 - 我的健康我做主｜第二场布道聚会**

🌿【养生之道・我的健康我做主!】🌿

「忘记背后,努力面前的,向着标竿直跑。」(腓立比书 3:13–14)

健康,不只是吃得对、动得勤;更是带着目标、带着盼望,好好走前面的路。

这一天,我们很荣幸邀请到 Dr Eric Teo,带来「与神一同设定健康目标:有目标、有力量、有信心地变老」。他用一个超实用的 SMART 法宝,教我们怎样把「随便啦」变成「我要去哪里」,把空想变成走得到的路。原来——定目标,从来不嫌迟。

第二个环节,更是笑声不断!我们来了一场「记忆力大考验」🧠:箱子里摆了一堆小东西——电池、笔、纸杯、小纸盒……看一看,盖起来,然后考验大家——刚才到底有什么?长辈们个个眼睛发亮、互相提醒、争着抢答,比年轻人还认真!

愿我们都能像使徒保罗那样,握紧手里的清单、认住前面的标竿。健康的身体、清醒的头脑、火热的心——都是上帝给我们的恩典。

🌿【Wellness the Healthy Way — My Health, My Responsibility!】🌿

"Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal." (Philippians 3:13–14)

Health isn't just about eating right and staying active — it's about moving forward with purpose and hope.

We were honoured to have Dr Eric Teo share on "Setting Wellness Goals with God: Aging with Purpose, Strength and Faith." Using the handy SMART framework, he showed us how to turn "anything goes" into "this is where I'm headed" — turning wishful thinking into a path we can actually walk. The lesson? It's never too late to set a goal.

The second segment had everyone laughing — a Memory Challenge! 🧠 A box filled with little items — batteries, a pen, a paper cup, a tiny paper crane — shown for a moment, then closed. The question: what was inside? Our seniors lit up, nudging each other and racing to answer, sharper than the young folks!

May we, like the apostle Paul, hold tight to our list and keep our eyes on the prize ahead. A healthy body, a sharp mind, and a warm heart — all gifts from God.

【信仰不是配角 · 圆满落幕】

第十六届新马青年大会，画下了温暖的句点。

还记得子贤教士最后一堂道吗？他问大家：到底，谁才是最厉害的？

铁很硬，却怕火。
火很猛，却怕水。
水能灭火，却敌不过烈日蒸发。
太阳再大，也会被云遮住。
云再厚，也挡不住一阵风。
风再狂，也吹不动一座山。
山再高，也挡不住人去开凿。
人再强，最终都要面对死亡。
那死亡呢？死亡，遇见了耶稣。

原来，能胜过一切的，是我们的主耶稣。而祂，也能胜过你我生命里最难的那一关。阿们！

四天的相聚，要感谢的人太多了——
谢谢每一位摆上的牧者、同工与代表，
也谢谢每一位从新加坡、从马来西亚，跨过那道"堤"远道而来的青年。

我们更满心期待下一站：
👉 下一届承办教会——关丹教会，我们关丹见！

愿这份信心，不只停留在这几天，而是继续在往后的日子里，稳稳地，做主角。

【Faith Is Not a Supporting Role · A Beautiful Close】
The 16th Singapore-Malaysia Youth Conference has come to a warm and meaningful end.

Do you remember Pastor Zi Xian's final message?
He asked everyone a question:
who, really, is the strongest of all?
Metal is hard — but it fears fire.
Fire is fierce — but it fears water.
Water can put out fire — but it cannot withstand the heat of the sun.
The sun is mighty — but it can be hidden behind clouds.
Clouds are thick — but they cannot resist the wind.
The wind is wild — but it cannot move a mountain.
The mountain is high — but it cannot stop man from carving through it.
Man is strong — but in the end, all must face death.
And death? Death met Jesus.
It turns out that the One who overcomes all things is our Lord Jesus. And He can also overcome the hardest battle in your life and mine. Amen!

Four days together, and so many to thank —
Thank you to every pastor, co-worker, and delegate who poured yourselves out,
and thank you to every young person who crossed that "Causeway," travelling from Singapore and from Malaysia to be here.

We look forward with full hearts to the next stop:

May this faith not remain only in these few days, but continue, steadily, in the days ahead — taking its place as the lead role.

回顾【第三天 · 信仰走进社区 🚪✨】

今天，我们把"信仰不是配角"这句话，从舞台带进了别人的家。

早上，250位新马青年分成小队，走进社区——有人跪在地上刷洗马桶 🧽，有人踮起脚尖擦冷气机 ❄️，有人握住独居长者的手，低头一起祷告 🙏。没有镁光灯、没有舞台、没有掌声，但这一刻，信仰是绝对的主角。

我们常以为"服事"是大人物的事，是配角们做的杂活。但今天我们才发现：原来弯下腰的那一刻，天国离我们最近。一桶水、一句问安、一个拥抱——in His eyes，没有一样是"小事"。

下午，我们一起来到 Jewel Changi，在瀑布前留下大合照 💦。从陌生人变成一家人，从 SG 到 MY，我们用同一个信仰、同一颗心，连成了一座看不见的"堤"。

到了晚上，我们躺在 Gardens by the Bay 的擎天树下，看灯光随音乐亮起 🌳💜。白天我们弯下腰服事人，夜里我们一起抬起头——原来同一群手，既能洗一个马桶，也能在星光下一起赞叹创造的奇妙。低头服事、抬头敬拜，本是同一件事。

第三天，我们学会的不只是怎么服事人，而是——信仰，从来不是周末才上演的剧本。它是每一天、每一个角落、每一双愿意伸出去的手，和每一颗愿意仰望的心。🌟

【Day 3 · Faith Stepped into Community 🚪✨】

Today, we carried "Faith Is Not a Supporting Role" off the stage and into other people's homes.

This morning, 248 youths from Singapore and Malaysia split into teams and went into the community — some on their knees scrubbing toilets 🧽, some on tiptoe wiping down aircon units ❄️, some holding the hands of elderly living alone, heads bowed in prayer 🙏. No spotlight, no stage, no applause — but in that moment, faith was unmistakably the lead role.

We often think serving is for the "important" people, or just chores left to the extras. But today we discovered: the moment we bend low is the moment heaven draws nearest. A pail of water, a word of greeting, a hug — in His eyes, none of it is ever "small."

In the afternoon, we gathered at Jewel Changi for a big group photo by the Rain Vortex 💦. From strangers to one family, from SG to MY — one faith, one heart, forming an invisible "bridge" between us.

At night, we lay beneath the Supertrees at Gardens by the Bay, watching the lights come alive with the music 🌳💜. By day we bent low to serve; by night we lifted our eyes together — the same hands that scrubbed a toilet could also marvel at the wonder of creation under the stars. Bowing low to serve and looking up to worship are, in the end, the same act.

On Day 3, we learned more than how to serve others — faith was never a script that only plays on weekends. It lives in every day, every corner, every hand willing to reach out, and every heart willing to look up. 🌟

Day 2 新马青年大会回顾 | 600 个声音, 一个敬拜

这是一个安息日。
来自亚洲各地——台湾、香港、柬埔寨、马来西亚、新加坡……原本素不相识的 250 位青年,今天坐在同一个空间里,开口唱同一首歌。
那一刻很难形容——

不同的口音、不同的成长故事,
却在副歌响起的时候,自然地汇成了同一个声音。
你有没有过那种感觉?

就是当全场一起赞美上帝、一起安静、一起流泪的时候,
你忽然知道:我不是一个人在信。

而今天,子贤教士的证道,刚好接住了这份感动——
他讲到一个我们每天都在面对、却很少敢老实回答的问题:生命中的 priority(优先次序)。

我们的时间表、我们的决定、我们焦虑的事、我们追的目标……其实都在悄悄告诉别人:对我来说,什么排第一。

子贤教士提醒我们:
信仰不是行程表里排在最后、有空才做的那一项。
当我们真正把上帝放在第一位,其他的一切——课业、工作、关系、未来——才会被放回对的位置上。

这,不正是"信仰不是配角"最真实的样子吗?
安息日,本来就不是为了"完成一个程序"。
它是神给我们的一份礼物——
让我们停下来,从忙碌、比较、追赶里抽身,
重新把祂,放回第一位。
今天我们一起做到了。

家乐教士 |愚人的黄金 (Fool's Gold)
"愚人的黄金"看起来闪闪发亮,却一文不值。家乐教士提醒我们:这世界有太多东西,远看像黄金——名声、成绩、别人的认可、稳稳的未来——我们拼命去抓,抓到后才发现是空的。

真正的黄金,是那经得起火炼、不会朽坏的信仰与永恒。别再为愚人的黄金,赔上你真正宝贵的东西。

别让真正重要的,沦为生命里的配角！

Day 2 Singapore-Malaysia Chinese Youth Conference Recap | 600 Voices, One Worship

This is a Sabbath.

250 young people from all over Asia—Taiwan, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore… originally strangers, sat in the same space today, singing the same song.

That moment is hard to describe—

Different accents, different life stories,

yet, when the chorus began, they naturally merged into one voice.

Have you ever had that feeling?

When the whole audience praises God together, falls silent together, and sheds tears together,

you suddenly know: I am not alone in my faith.

And today, Pastor Zixian's sermon perfectly captured that feeling—he spoke about a question we face every day, yet rarely dare to honestly answer: the priorities in life.

Our schedules, our decisions, our anxieties, the goals we pursue… are all quietly telling others: what comes first to me.

Pastor Zixian reminded us: Faith is not something to be done last on the schedule, something to do only when you have free time.

When we truly put God first, everything else—studies, work, relationships, the future—will fall back into its rightful place.

Isn't this the truest meaning of "faith is not a supporting role"? The Sabbath is not about "completing a procedure."

It's a gift from God—allowing us to stop, to step away from busyness, comparison, and chasing, and

to put Him first again.

Today, we did it together.

"Fool's gold" glitters, but it's worthless. Ps. Caleb Wee reminded us how many things in this world look like gold from a distance — reputation, grades, others' approval, a secure future — things we chase with everything, only to find them empty. The real gold is a faith that is refined by fire and never fades. Don't trade what is truly precious for fool's gold.

Don't let what matters most become the supporting role in your life！
