We are saddened by the recent natural disasters such as the Nepal & Tibet floods and the ongoing armed conflicts and geopolitical unrest. In such times of global uncertainty, geopolitical tension, and environmental distress, let us gather together in collective prayers.

✨ABC warmly invites you to join us for a special recitation of the Golden Light Sutra (Suvarṇaprabhāsottama Sūtra), a profound Mahayana text renowned for its immense power to protect nations, pacify warfare, and avert natural disasters, disease and misfortune.

💛Reciting the Golden Light Sutra brings immense purification, merit accumulation and protection for the individual, and also peace and happiness for Singapore and the world🌍.

💕This coming Sunday, we invite you to a very special and auspicious occasion— a Long Life Puja (Tenshug) which will be offered by ABC to our deeply revered Resident Teacher of 27 years, Khen Rinpoche Geshe Chonyi. Khen Rinpoche has been our guiding light, turning the Wheel of Dharma with boundless compassion, wisdom, and patience. His tireless dedication to teaching, guiding, and supporting our community is a precious gift that we hold close to our hearts. 🌟

The purpose of the long life puja, the making of extensive offerings and supplications for the guru's long life, is for students to purify the mistakes that occur in relation to their teacher, and to create the causes and conditions to continue receiving benefit from that teacher for a very long time. 🌸 Lama Zopa Rinpoche used to mention regularly that offering long life pujas is also a cause for one’s own long life. 🌻

🎀We invite all members, students, benefactors, and friends to come together to offer prayers for Khen Rinpoche's very long and healthy life, for all his holy wishes to be swiftly fulfilled, and for his continued presence in Singapore and other parts of the world. 🪷 We will also dedicate for the long and healthy life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and the swift return of Lama Zopa Rinpoche. 💫

It is customary for attendees to dress respectfully as an offering to the guru. Please kindly refrain from revealing or overly casual attire. Long trousers and skirts are recommended.

🤍 This Ullambana, we invite your participation in a 100 torma offering ritual for everyone to engage in compassionate giving to the 12 types of guests. Participating in this Chenrezig practice on behalf of your loved ones is highly beneficial for both the living and deceased. 🙏🏻

🪷Composed by Phabongkha Rinpoche, the Torma Gyatsa ritual includes a bath offering to the merit field followed by water offerings 💧 to Dzambhala, pretas, bardo beings, and nagas as preliminaries. The tormas are then offered in the manner of requesting for attainments from the upper guests, as a symbol of entreating assistance from the middle guests, and in the manner of practicing generosity to the lower guests. By making offerings to transcendental guests and practicing generosity to worldly beings, one creates extensive merit and pacifies harm caused by karmic creditors such as spirits. 💐
