[🧠🧘‍♀️ How to Meditate on the Nature of Mind: An Introduction to Mahamudra]
Taught by Mr. Kok Wai Cheong
2, 16, 23 Jul (Thurs)
7.30pm – 9pm
Onsite at ABC

What is the mind, and can we ever truly know it? 🤔
This introductory talk explores the nature of mind through the lens of Gelug Mahamudra — a profound Buddhist lineage that offers a direct path to understanding our own awareness. We will look at how Buddhism defines the mind, why meditating on its nature is so beneficial, and how you can begin exploring this for yourself.✨ Each session includes explanation on the topic, guided meditation and time for Q&A.

💡About the Teacher
Kok Wai Cheong has been teaching meditation and Buddhism since 1996, with a special interest in making available the benefits of meditation to a wider audience. After studying Dharma for several years, Wai Cheong set out to deepen his understanding of spiritual practice by finishing the FPMT Masters Program at Istituto Lama Tsong Khapa in Italy from 1998 to 2004 that concluded with a four-month solitary retreat in New Zealand. From 2006 to 2015 and starting from 2020, he has served as a senior teacher at Vajrayana Institute, a Tibetan Buddhist Centre affiliated to the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT).

All are welcome. 🤗 Registration is not required.
