Today, on the Solemnity of the Assumption, we celebrate both victory and hope.

Mary, our Mother, shared our humanity, yet lived with a heart so pure that sin could not take root. But how did she triumph over temptation?

"Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God." - Matthew 5:8

Thankfully, we too are not left helpless. We have the gift of the Sacrament of Reconciliation, where we can be made new again and again. She shows us that purity of heart is possible through grace and that victory over sin leads to glory. Let us turn to her guidance every day.

🙏 Let us ask her daily for this grace: O Mary, assumed into heaven, pray for us who hope in you.
