🌿 SUNDAY GOSPEL REFLECTION | OCTOBER 11, 2026 🙏
👑 “Many are called, but few are chosen.” (Matthew 22:14)
In today’s Gospel, Jesus tells us the parable of a king who prepared a wedding feast for his son. Though everything was ready, many of those invited refused to come. So the king opened the invitation to everyone, both good and bad, until the wedding hall was filled.
✨ God’s invitation is for everyone. He calls us into His Kingdom, invites us to share in His love, and offers us the grace of a new beginning. Yet, like the guests in the parable, we can become so busy with our daily concerns that we forget to make room for Him.
The wedding garment reminds us that accepting God’s invitation means more than simply hearing His Word. It means allowing His grace to transform our hearts and showing our faith through love, kindness, mercy, humility, and a life lived according to His will.
❤️ Today, let us ask ourselves: Am I making room for God in my life? Am I ready to respond to His invitation? Does my heart reflect the love of Christ?
May we never be too busy to answer God's call. May we put on the garment of faith, clothe ourselves in love, and live each day with hearts ready for His Kingdom.
