Blessed Fr. Michael McGivney Novena - Day 9

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Dear Lord, we thank You for giving us Blessed Michael J. McGivney as an example of holiness. Help us to imitate the love of You he showed in his life of service to Your Church.

Blessed Michael J. McGivney, you set out on the path of service to God’s Church as a young man. Despite the setbacks you experienced on the path to your vocation, you persevered in seeking to follow God’s call.

Please persevere in bringing my petitions before God!

As a priest, you saw the need for a fraternal society that could help provide for families in crisis. You worked diligently to meet this need and to faithfully serve God’s Church for the rest of your life.

Pray for me, that I may always serve God’s Church faithfully in my life. Pray that I may never waver in my desire to serve God.

Farewell Reception For Bishop Miehm
Hosted By Parish Knights Of Columbus

After all Masses the weekend of June 20 & 21 the Parish Knights of Columbus
served light refreshments in the open area outside the front of the Cathedral.
This afforded Parishioners the opportunity to speak with Bishop Miehm, thank him for his service and wish him all the best in his new assignment.
Thanks to Bro. John Salfi for organizing this event. He did an excellent job !
Also, to Bros. Edward Dampor, Nnamdi Azubuike, Zach Dodge, Ed Panganiban, Keegan Mooney & Ken Nicol for lending their assistance.
