Pastor Jordan spent time the past two days celebrating the church and the wider community.

On Sunday June 7 he attended the ordination of Rev Iris Mak as pastor to Rhenish Lutheran Church in Markham. It was a joy to worship with the congregation and our Bishop.

On Monday June 8 he attended the 60th anniversary celebration of the German Canadian Benevolent Society in Hamilton. Many of our church members are also members of the society. Pastor Jordan brought greetings to the group, along with the Honourable Andrea Horwath, mayor of Hamilton, and Ursula Hoffmann, president of the Burlington Continental Austrian Club.

Members of Trinity were out in the community today as part of the

Together we helped stock up four community fridges across Hamilton and met some of our neighbours.

Also wonderful to chat with the Parish Council of St Michael’s Anglican in the Anglican Diocese of Niagara who host a fridge at their parish.

It's been a lively Holy Week at Trinity as we journey toward the Resurrection. We began with confirmation on Palm Sunday, a family event on Wednesday, and then Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services. We finished Friday afternoon by joining the downtown ecumenical Social Justice stations of the cross with Good Friday Social Justice Stations of the Cross Walk - Hamilton Canada
