Melissa, Mariela, and Kelly are back in Canada… as Apostolic Novices!

They spent a fruitful year in Brazil for their Canonical Noviciate and arrived safely back to Hamilton, Ontario.

Please pray for them as they continue their formation to profess their first vows.

On this January 3rd, we celebrate the Most Holy Name of Jesus, the name that is above all names and before which “every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth” (Phil 2:10).

The Name of Jesus is the expression of the infinite love of God who became flesh for our salvation.

By invoking Him with faith, we acknowledge His Lordship and allow Him to transform our hearts.

Most Holy Name of Jesus, deliver us from all evil!

On this January 1st, the Holy Church celebrates with joy and jubilation the Solemnity of Saint Mary, Mother of God, recognizing Mary’s unique role in the Mystery of Salvation. Chosen by God, she became the Theotokos, the “Mother of God”, by bringing the Incarnate Word, Our Lord Jesus Christ, into the world.

We begin this new year under the maternal protection of the Virgin Mary, who, with her yes, allowed salvation to reach us.

May the Holy Mother of God intercede for us, leading us to her Son Jesus and strengthening us in the search for holiness.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, intercede with God for us!

“Ecce adest! Puer natus est!”

Today we celebrate with great joy the Nativity of the Lord, the sublime mystery of the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us (Jn 1:14).
On this holy day, we contemplate the birth of Jesus who, out of love, assumed our humanity to redeem us and bring us Salvation.

In the simplicity of a manger, surrounded by humility and poverty, the Child God reveals to us the greatness of his love and invites us to welcome him into our hearts. He is the true Light who came into the world to dispel darkness, bringing peace, hope and the guarantee of eternal life.

This Christmas, may we open our hearts to welcome Jesus with the same faith and trust as Mary and Joseph. May the joy of this day renew in us the certainty that the good God is with us, walking beside us in every step of our lives.

A holy and Marry Christmas!

Today, December 24, we give thanks to the good Lord for the gift of the life of the vice minister general of our Institute: Sister Ágape do Divino Holocausto, pjc.

Overjoyed, we bless the Lord for having chosen her and made her the Poor of Jesus Christ. We are grateful for having the grace to share in the life of Christ through your life and vocation.

On this day, let us unite in prayer and pray a Hail Mary for the life and vocation of our vice minister general!

“But I will glorify the Lord for his righteousness, and I will sing praises to the name of the Lord, the Most High.”
(Ps 7:18)

Today, united with Holy Mother Church, we rejoice in the 88th birthday of our beloved Pope Francis.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio was born into a Catholic family on December 17, 1936, in the neighborhood of Flores, Buenos Aires, the eldest of five children born to Mario José Bergoglio and Regina Maria Sívori.

He was baptized on Christmas Day, 1936, in the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians and Saint Charles, in the neighborhood of Almagro, Buenos Aires. And today, chosen and inspired by God, moved entirely by His Grace, he leads our Church.

Let us pray for him, for his health, and for his apostolic ministry that forms and nourishes us in our life of faith with his pastoral work.

Peace and all good!

Today we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of Latin America. When she appeared to Saint Juan Diego, Mary revealed herself as the Mother who welcomes, consoles and brings hope to those who suffer.

The Virgin of Guadalupe reminds us of her maternal love. She intercedes for us and aids our calling to be instruments of God’s grace in this world.

May her intercession strengthen us in the mission of evangelizing and caring for the poorest of the poor, as the Gospel teaches us.

“Am I not here, I who am your Mother?”

Our Lady of Guadalupe,
Pray for us!
