The Mysteries of Adonai

Acts 2:5, 8, 11-13 NKJV
[5] "And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from EVERY NATION under heaven.
[8] And how is it that we hear, each in our OWN LANGUAGE in which we were born?
[11] Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in OUR OWN TONGUES the WONDERFUL works of God.” [12] So they were all AMAZED and PERPLEXED, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?” [13] Others mocking said, “They are FULL of new WINE.”

This was an event similar to the parting of the water through Moses. In the Spirit world it was a declaration of the power of God manifesting in Jews from all nations.

The Jews were not chosen by God to be spoilt by blessings. The Israelites were to establish the Kingdom of God on earrth and be a blessing to other nations so that all nations could believe and be saved.

Instead of a king or a human ruler, the Jews now had a perfect King, the Almighty God Himself.

Sadly most Jews still reject their King and Saviour, sinning by ignoring His Holy Spirit.

The moment we receive the Holy Spirit, our training as servants of Adonai starts.

The Mysteries of Adonai

John 16:1-3 TLV
[1] “I have spoken these things to you so that you may be KEPT FROM STUMBLING. [2] They will THROW you out of the synagogues. Yes, an hour is coming when whoever KILLS you will think he is OFFERING SERVICE to GOD. [3] They will do these things because they have NEVER KNOWN the Father or Me."

This is the tragic state of affairs. The disciples went through these things and since then believers are being persecuted.

What Jesus was doing was necessary so that we do not start doubting about our faith in Adonai, because we are being persecuted.

The saddest part for me is that Jesus warned us that confused and fake believers would throw true believers out places of worship and out of congregations.

The greatest enemy is not the world outside, but the counterfeit church amongst us.

Our connection to Christ and His Spirit should be too strong to be shaken, or else we might stumble and run away from Adonai.

John 15:18-24 TLV
[18] “If the world HATES you, know that it has HATED ME before you. [19] If you were of the world, the world would LOVE YOU AS ITS OWN. But you are NOT of the world, since I have CHOSEN you out of the world; therefore the WORLD HATES you. [20] “Remember the word I spoke to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they PERSECUTED ME, they will PERSECUTE YOU also. If they KEPT My WORD, they will keep yours also. [21] “But all these things they will DO TO YOU for the SAKE of My NAME, because they DO NOT KNOW know the ONE who SENT Me. [22] If I had not come and SPOKEN to them, they would have no sin. But now they have NO EXCUSE for their sin. [23] “He who HATES Me also HATES My FATHER. [24] If I had not done works among them that no one else did, they would have no sin. But now they have SEEN and have HATED both Me and My Father."

It seems easy to understand these words. Most believers think the word "world" refers the people who do not "belong" to a church.

But when you study the seven letters to the seven congregations in Revelation 2&3, you realise that Jesus was warning us about the "World" infiltrating the church.

I have been under attack from the worldly believers for a long time. There are fake believers who deliberately disturb the peace and unity in churches.

Lately it feels that everywhere the World pushes against any Holy Spirit driven action. I used to send out " Good Night" scripture photos but Facebook now limits a user to 35 posts on a broadcast list per month. I have been kicked off a sports page for quoting scripture.

Lately I have been called a lose gun, a trouble maker and an idiot by people who are church attending believers. All because I stand on the Word of God.

I am not perfect. I am probably one of the worst disciples of Jesus ever, but I know Adonai and Jesus Christ and speak when I believe the Spirit prompts me to.

I decided a long time ago to laugh at attacks, but also to pray and ask if I need to ask forgiveness.

Beware the World masquerading amongst us. Do not allow the World to silence you.
